Victoria Makol, AMFT is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents, young adults, and parents. Her recent clinical experience includes residential treatment and psychiatric crisis stabilization with teens experiencing suicidality, self-harm, severe emotional distress, and other acute mental health concerns. She has also worked closely with parents and families during high stress periods, helping them understand patterns as they unfold, reduce escalation, strengthen communication and connection, and respond more effectively to their children. These settings have given Victoria a deep respect for adolescents’ resilience and capacity for change.

Victoria has a particular interest in parent coaching and family work. Her style is warm, curious, and direct, with an emphasis on helping parents feel supported rather than judged while working toward meaningful change. She is trained in DBT and completed EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training.

Before becoming a therapist, Victoria worked in organizational leadership, adult learning, consulting, and mission driven organizations. She received her MA in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from the Presidio Graduate School and a BA from Dartmouth College.
